You already pay for an AI subscription. For most founders that’s Claude Pro at $20 a month. And most of the time, it’s used the same way: open a chat, paste some code, copy the answer back, repeat.

That’s a capable model doing one person’s job, one message at a time, with you as the clipboard.

What the subscription can already do

Claude Code runs on that same subscription. It can read your repo, edit files, run your tests and explain what it changed. The model is not the bottleneck. The bottleneck is you: deciding what to do next, writing the prompt, checking the result, keeping track of what’s done.

What a team adds

What it doesn’t change

Your subscription’s usage limits still apply. Seven seats doing real work use more of your plan than an occasional chat does. If you run a lot of tickets, you may want Claude Max. We’d rather say that now than have you find out mid-sprint.

The model also doesn’t get smarter. What changes is that every step has a clear owner, a written output, a test run and a gate where you decide.
