The service

Eigthseat is a hosted board plus a helper that runs on your own machine. The helper runs seven AI agents through your own AI tool (such as Claude Code) inside your repository. You need your own subscription to that tool, and you are responsible for it.

You have the final word. Nothing is merged, released or posted without your approval.

Your subscription and free trial

• There is one plan: $9 a month, everything included.
• You get a 30-day free trial. You add a card at checkout and nothing is charged during the trial.
• Your first charge is on day 31. After that you are charged $9 each month until you cancel.
• Paddle is our merchant of record. It takes payment, sends receipts and adds tax where required.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time in the app. If you cancel during the trial you pay nothing. If you cancel later, you keep access until the end of the current billing cycle, and we don't charge you again. See the refund policy for refunds.

Acceptable use

• Use the service only for lawful work and for repositories you have the right to work on.
• Don't try to break, overload or get around the service, its limits or its safety rules.
• Don't share your account or resell access.
• Don't use it to build malware or to harm other people.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. We'll tell you why.

Your data and the data boundary

We store your board, never your code. Your source code, diffs, full agent logs, prompts, project memory files and artifacts stay on your machine. Live views stream from your machine to your browser through our servers and are not stored or logged. The privacy policy lists exactly what we keep.

Your code and your work are yours. We claim no rights to them.

The connector

The chat-to-plan connector lets a chat assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT send a plan to Eigthseat as a draft project. It can only send the plan fields you ask the chat to send. You review the draft before anything starts. You can revoke the connector at any time in the web app.

Liability

AI agents can make mistakes. Review what they produce before you approve it; you are responsible for what you merge and release. The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights the law gives you that can't be limited.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you before the change takes effect.
